Well, here it is! The first proper biography of Cyndy (now Cynthia) Preston, who played Princess Zelda in the cartoon. She was born in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, but I'm not sure when. Obviously, she's come quite a way from her Zelda days, even guest starring in my favourite show, The X-Files :) The biography below, was given to me by my friend (and very good informat), Mike Townshend, where he discovered it, on the official website of Cyndy's new show, Total Recall 2070. My sister tells me that in England, it's been put back in viewing, Channel 4 tried to buy it, and couldn't. Or something. So... it may be quite a while before we see it here in England, but oh well... isn't it always the way?

Cynthia Preston fell into acting by happenstance. While attending high school in Toronto, her mother suggested a self-improvement course to help overcome extreme shyness. As a result, Preston took up modeling at 15, and soon found herself working in Japan for months at a time. Not long after graduating from high school, Cynthia was summoned by CBS talent scouts, and landed the role as Jill Clayburgh's daughter in the movie for television, Miles to Go.
Cynthia has gone on to star in the feature films Convergence, The Gift, The Ultimate Weapon, If Looks Could Kill, Pin, and Alliance's well received project, Whale Music.
On television, Preston has starred in the movies Madonna: The New York Music Story, The Black Fox, Blood Horse, and To Catch a Killer. She's also guest starred on episodes of X-Files, Once a Thief, The Outer Limits, Matrix, Diamonds, Forever Knight, Kids in the Hall, E.N.G, and Sweating Bullets.
