Marin
Marin, the beautiful young girl who bore a strange resemblance to that of Princess Zelda, was born on the mysterious Koholint Island. She was an extremely lonely girl, for not many people lived on the island. She loved singing though, and could often be found singing or playing songs to herself, down by the sea-shore. Some people said she was strange, for she often asked many questions about the outside world, which of course, no-one could answer. She wished that she could go someplace other than Koholint. Her best friends were the animals, who loved her to come and sing for them. |
Marin couldn't believe her luck when she discovered a boy of her age, marooned on the island, for he had surely come from the outside world! This boy was Link, who immediately under took the quest to wake the mysterious windfish, so he could escape Koholint. He and Marin became good friends, in fact, Marin fell in love with Link. Sadly, when Link woke the Windfish, the island was destroyed.....
