I love old game sprites! Of course these days they don't really exist (except on the Gameboy of course), thanks to polygon 3D graphics but it has to be said, Zelda has had some of the nicest sprites around! A lot of people are kind enough to create sprite sheets than can be used for various puposes and they can be found distributed widely across the 'net. My favourite sprites have to be from Minish Cap; they're just adorable!

At North Castle we're proud to present something a little different - fan sprite sheets created by Christopher Blair. Chris makes absolutely amazing sprites, as you can see below, I can't wait for his DiC sheets based on the cartoon Link and Zelda! The ones with notes on are freely available to use so long as you give him credit, others are specially created for his ongoing book series, the first of which is Prelude To Legends.
