Before the War

 "The world is in chaos. Wars have erupted both in Hyrule and across the sea. Fleets of ships roam the seas while armies clash on battle-scarred land. The only thing that can restore order is that most mysterious artifact—the TRIFORCE.

 "But even as Hyrule and other lands desperately search for the golden object, one lone man marshals an army of his own. An army of thieves and murderers, of cutthroats and pirates. The Triforce is their goal, and they are commanded by the former Lord of the Gerudos: Ganondorf Dragmire. With power and skill beyond most mortals, he plans to take the power of the Goddesses—even if it means destroying an entire world."
