Illia sat by herself in the morning dew light, listening to nothing but the small cheerful chirps of birds around her. She was not cheerful, on the contrary, her thoughts were blinded by her hate towards Zelda, whom seemed to have appeared from nowhere and ruined her dreams. Anger stirred in her like a dark ominous cloud, why would he be with Zelda than with the one who had been with him nearly all his life? This Zelda, a princess, which lived in a large castle in luxury, didn’t she have all that she needed or wanted? Why did she have to take Link? The one Illia admired and secretly had been in love with… She saw them as more than friends, she did. She felt it in her heart. A desire to be fulfilled, that she longed for. Zelda was a threat. She could take Zelda away from him. Yes, she could, and then he would come back to Ordon, back to her. And in time, he would forget that royal and everything would be back to normal. He would be hers. Only hers.

Link awakened as he felt a cold rain drop on his nose. He had slept the night through together with Zelda; she looked so peaceful where she laid… he rose, carefully making his way towards her in the wet green grass. He wasn’t so frozen, but still, he wanted to make sure Zelda wasn’t cold, even if she did have his tunic draped around her body as a blanket. His eyes shone faintly in the morning light, his hair draped over his face in thick strands, as he crept down closer to Zelda. His hand was about to touch her face, when she suddenly flew up at him, the tunic falling off from her and her pushing him  down in the grass with a hard thud, a long thin sword blade at his throat, her on top of him. Her gaze grew from defensive to normal, her eyes changing color to a milder lighter shade of blue. ‘…Don’t scare me like that. I thought you were a Wolfos…’ He didn’t answer, just laid where he lay, his eyes fixed on her in the light that shone over them, over her face. It felt awkward to be like this, yet why didn’t any of them want to get up? They couldn’t hold it back any more, without warning Link darted forward, pinning down Zelda’s hand where she held the sword, together with herself, straddling her. He started caressing her, kissing her, feeling how an arousal slowly began to dominate over him. She in turn, kissed him back, coming very close to his body with hers, feeling the same arousal build up in her too. Their embrace tightened, and soon Link forcefully unlaced Zelda’s clothes, her removing the rest of his tunic, leaving him completely exposed except for the shackle on his left wrist. They had waited for so long to finally reveal their true hidden feelings, sharing the same strong desire that was to be. With equal passion and lust, they embraced once more, falling into the grass. As they ferociously held each other and their kisses became more and longer and faster, Link began to feel himself hardening. His breath quickened and he felt how tense he was, while Zelda felt herself getting warm and wet down there, and she began moaning, wanting him to do it. Link, taking a steady and hard grip around Zelda’s waist, entered her carefully, them both groining of the feeling of their bodies against each other. Continuing, they sat up, very intertwined. Link began thrusting hard into Zelda, holding himself around her, while lowering his body against hers. He made loud, growling noises from his throat, thrusting deeper and deeper into her, Zelda screaming of pleasure and love as he hit her right at the spot, and him screaming whenever he felt her thrusting against him, making him go faster. It felt so good inside in both of them, so complete. They wouldn’t stop for a long time, their bodies keeping rubbing hard against each other in a single unified rhythm. At last, Link pushed himself as hard as he could, fully penetrating Zelda. She reached an orgasm, her voice crying high pitched into the sky. It hurt a little when they were so close and tight, but Link was careful and forced himself to not go too fast as he thrust in slow soft motions, tired after having been so active. He moaned as he breathed heavily, feeling exhausted. Zelda also by now felt exhausted but they both enjoyed the feeling. Very slowly, Link began to pull out. ‘…Pull out faster…’ And so he did, feeling a wave of pleasure streaming through him as Zelda also felt the same in her.

Link dropped into the grass, fully out, breathing heavily. His hair lay in thick, heavy strands, his muscular self bathed in sweat and still tense. Zelda joined him, resting her head on his chest, feeling just as tired. When they had regained their strength a little they looked into the heavens above, the blue sky reflected in their eyes. ‘…Link…’ ‘...Sorry, I shouldn’t—‘But I wanted to, just as much as you wanted, to finally show you how much I love you, we’ve waited for so long...’ Link then realized that she was right, they had desired to do this for so long, yet he felt that he shouldn’t have, and the same thought lingered in Zelda’s head. What consequences lay ahead? Zelda knew that in her, a child would start to develop, the result of their love, as protection didn’t exist yet in this age. She wanted to bear Link’s child, but how would her people react when they found out that she was carrying the heir to the throne of Hyrule? They went down to a nearby river, washing themselves thoroughly. Link couldn’t help but give Zelda a long kiss, she couldn’t either resist, and their love for each other was finally evident for both of them, their triforce’s shining brighter than ever before at the back of their hands, as they embraced in the water, staying so for a long time, their heads on each other’s shoulders. Whatever that may come over them, they would go through with it together, and this thought made them feel safer and better about their decision about what they had done.

Maru…you know where he hides, don’t you? That vile hero that slayed me…

’Yes, in a secluded area of Faron Woods is where he hides.’

‘Good. A serious smile was spread across Ganondorf’s face. Ambush him there when he comes. And finish him. With him gone, my forces will have no problem storming into the castle.’

‘What about the princess? What should we do with her?’

‘The girl…she’ll go after her and kill her.’

‘Aren’t you overreacting a bit? I don’t think she would kill her just because she has a relationship with Link…’ ‘She will, I will see to it, by possessing her body. Zelda can’t hurt me; I’m more powerful than her in the arts of magic.’

A loud evil laughter rose from Ganondorf’s throat, one of cunning at his plan. Maru tried to shove away the coldness and sorrow of the plan, feeling Ganondorf was really pure evil. ‘Well what are you waiting for, servant?! Get over there and finish Link off!’ He slinked out; riding away to Link’s hiding, and waited.

Illia, where you goin’ of to, you seem all geared up with bow and arrow and even that dagger you got from Rusl…’ ‘No where, Talo. Now, go back to bed and don’t tell anyone I’ve left.’ ‘Are you leaving the village?’ ‘Just for a short time, I’ll be back.’ ‘Are you sure…I don’t want you to leave!’ He called out, hugging her. ‘Colin’s already gone (he had started his own adventure when Link came back) and then...then there’s only me and Malo and Beth left in the village! I don’t want you to leave like he did!!’ ‘I must, but will you wait for me?’ ‘Sure!’ And she left, leaving the village gates behind her back. She ran, fast on foot, towards any direction that lead her towards Castle Town where she knew Zelda resided, in the great Hyrule Castle.

Meanwhile, Link and Zelda bid farewell until they went their separate ways.  It was growing late the sun was high in the sky, and they felt that it was time to resume their duties; Zelda had to be back at the castle, and Link, well, he wanted to rest in his secluded place, still feeling tired after their passion together. He put on his tunic once more, putting back his sword and its sheath where it belonged, as always swung over his back. Zelda got dressed again, her black robe covering her up, making her seem mysterious. She always wore this outfit when she left Castle Town. Link called on Epona, making sure that Zelda was safe with going back all by herself, as she did have her long thin sword to defend against enemies. He rode, she rode, back to where they lived, going their separate ways. Upon returning to the castle, Zelda sensed something wasn’t right. It felt cold, darker in her empty throne room. She fell backward quickly when she heard a dagger unsheathe close to her. It stabbed forward, Zelda blocking it with her long sword as light filled the room, casting shadows around her and her attacker. Illia stepped forward, her eyes burning with an evil aura. Ganondorf had won over her, possessing her and feeling stronger by her hateful feelings towards Zelda. ‘Who are you? An assassin?’ Zelda questioned with a stern voice, not afraid to fight. But the attacker didn’t answer and leapt out of the clash, going back as well, and ready to fight to the death. They stood, their blades stretched towards one another in the great throne hall, shimmering light falling around them as there was a silence. With a battle cry, Zelda leapt forward, her sword in the air.

Link had returned to his forest place, unaware that Maru was following him in silence through the vegetation. For some reason, Link suddenly unsheathed his blade, feeling as if a battle was to draw near. And, soon enough, Maru leapt at him, slashing him at his left hand, landing on the opposite side of where Link stood. Link turned around, standing in his battle pose, ready to unleash his blade at whoever attacked him. Sadly, his skills with the sword had diminished some, because he didn’t have to fight so often, the sword felt heavy in his hand, and his sheath felt uncomfortable. Still, he tried his best to remember his teachings with the blade. Maru! This is the last time I will let you get away!’ his eyes gleamed, and Maru smiled in a sly way when he uttered, at the sight of Link: ‘What’s the matter? Has the great hero lost his blade? …humph, pathetic…to think you could slay Ganondorf with such petty so called sword skills.’ Maru unsheathed his sword as well, which was a lot bigger and longer than Link’s, the old battered sword that Rusl had given him once upon a time. They waited, trying to analyze each other’s strength and skill. Fire flies began flying letting out their light, reflected in the shallow water at which the two warriors stood in, their reflections completely frozen. Tightening his grip around the sword’s hilt, Link ran forward, unleashing a fearsome and strong battle cry as his hair flew in the wind, his eyes filled with anger.  Darkness surrounded them, as rain began to fall in small droplets. Maru stood still, not moving an inch as Link came closer and closer, his boots splashing up the water in rapid circles. Maru’s eyes let out a golden gleam, and he raised his sword into the air, quickly blocking Link’s blow with a strike. Link was stopped by this, and his feet flew back, splashing up even more water. They fletched their muscles, pushing their blades against one another, trying to overpower each other so one would fall. Link broke the clash, and came at him again. This time, Maru ran forward, he was very fast despite carrying such heavy armor, and he was quick with his blade. They kept striking together, again and again, the water flying up into the air as they slashed at each other, their eyes glowing in the dark. How was this going to end for Link and Zelda?
