Prologue - Chaos
Hyrule was in chaos. For years the once-peaceful land had been consumed in a massive civil war, testing the heavenly foundation on which it had been created. The Hylians, Gerudo, Zora, and Gorons contended against each other, each attempting to prove their dominance over the other races. The blood of the thousands slain bathed the land, crying for justice. The only race spared from this incessant bloodshed was the Kokiri. Isolated in their forest, they remained unaffected by the wars.
