Biography

Mysterious is a prolific roleplayer which clearly inspires her in her writing. Her art style is fluid and graceful and different to most other artists. I met Mysterious when she came to visit North Castle via it's sister site, Legends Place. My favourite piece of Mysterious' work is a short romantic story about Link and her character Sage, Truth of the Night.

    Quick Q&A

    1. So most importantly, how did you get into the Legend of Zelda?

When I was really little I used to watch my babysitter play the first Zelda game all the time. I always wanted to try but she told me I was too little and I wouldn't know how to play. So I gave up, then when ToO came out I wanted it so bad. I talked my mom into getting it for my brother for his birthday just so I could play it. I have loved it ever since.

    2. And what's your favourite game in the series?

I really do like them all, but if I have to pick one I would have to say Link to the Past. I don't know why but that one I can always play, though ToO plays a close second.

    3. Why did you choose The Legend of Zelda to devote so much of your creative energy to?

I am not completely sure. I think it is because I just love the basic story of the Zelda games. I mean it is the classic princess captured, hero rescues her, bad guy looses. On top of that you have pointy ears, magic, and swords how can anyone not devote their whole life to it?

    4. What are the main influences for your work?

It would have to be my Zelda role playing buddies. I just love characters and how they interact with each other. Zelda characters are also the best to distort and change.

    5. What is your favourite piece of work you've done, and why?

Well it would have to be two really. From my fan fiction it would have to be my Flaming Force story hands down. As for artwork I love my 'come with me' piece. The expressions are perfect.

    6. Who is your favourite character to write/draw, and why?

My favorite character has to be Sage from my fan fiction. She is such a pain to Link but such a great fighter. That and she is just so hot, if I could be anyone I would be her, because one she is a sheikah, two she has a cool weapon, and three she gets to kiss Link.

    7. Are there any fan writers/artists that you admire?

Happy Mask and Lysia have to be my two favorite writers. I could read them both all day. As far as artist go I like far too many to name them all, but there is one and I don't know their name. I found a picture when I was younger of Link leaning against a tree pulling Malon toward him under a full moon. I love that picture and I could never find it again.

    8. How did you find North Castle?

I found it off of Legends Place, a place I had become apart of for a long while.

    9. Why did you decide to post your work at North Castle?

I wanted to post my work on North Castle because they had such a nice fan selection. It was just a great place to go and view fan submissions and I wanted to be a part of that.

    10. Finally, any plans for the future regarding your work?

Do to popular demand I am rewriting my Fan Fiction the Flaming Force and continuing you into another whole story. I am nearly done with the first part and I must say it is longer and far more interesting now.

Other then that I am going to art school and pushing out Zelda drawing here and there.
